New Back box

I've just fitted a peco DTM style performance backbox to my laguna even though its supposed to be a direct fit i had to remove a small amount of the bottom of the rear bumper section to get the upright pipes clear even now the end pipes are clear they don't come completley past the end of the bumper so some of the gasses may well go under the bumper unit which did get a little warm today will this be ok or will i have to remove a little more ot allow the the exhaust fumes to escape

You need to work on it so the pipe sticks out behind the bumper section. If you don't then there is a risk that fumes could get back into the car with dire results.

Thanks Steve,i had a look at a golf with the same box fitted and can see what you mean hopfully there will be enough pipe to allow me to pull it back a couple of inches
