Hello

My shoulder harness straps are too long. I need to remove the stitching (the easy bit) and then they need to be re-stitched so they are shorter.

Sabelt are proving no help at all.

Does anyone know of any companies I can post them to and they'll re-stitch them?

Thanks

I think you'll struggle to find anyone other than Sabelt to do it because of the liability issues if you were to have a crash and the stitching failed. I had a similar issue with the Willans harnesses in my kit car, Willans were very reluctant but did eventually agree to shorten them but only after I gave them proof of purchase and written confirmation that the belts had never been involved in an accident etc. They also insisted on supplying completely new shortened shoulder straps rather than shortening the existing ones, and to be honest it wouldnt have cost that much more to buy a completely new set made to the correct dimensions
