I clayed my glass about 30 mins after washing my car and drying it. Unfortunately dust seemed to have built up, or my clay was quite dirty, or something, but I have managed to get quite a few fine scratches on my glass from using it. You mainly see them when you see your wiper ones, into the setting sun there are a number of other marks in random directions apart from the usual arc'd wiper ones...

Anyone know of a good cutting compound for glass? I used AG Blue glass cleaner, and it did bugger all, even on wiper scratches, seems more like an abraisive cleaner than a true polish.

I used the stg1/2 of the Megs 3 stg system (abrasive then fine polish) and again, not any real removal of the scratches or wiper ones...

Would a general detail (ie, orbital polish/paint correction) person be able to remedy it. Tempted to get the car done at some stage. Guess it just needs a more abrasive compound then polishing up to a shine again but not sure. Also my front screen is quite pitted now from age/mileage and has a small mark from a road chip, so don't want to spend £££ sorting it specifically.

Anyone have any tips or ideas?

Thanks

Dave
