Hi all - have just purchased a '02 Porsche 996
one of the major selling points for me was that the interior looked absolutely fantastic - more like a new car than a five year old one...

now - i'm pretty au fait with keeping the paintwork/glass/rubbers in top spec, but I'm something of a novice when it comes to interiors.
I'd like (in an ideal world) to try to keep this look for as long as possible - so if anyone can advise of the best products and processes to maintain the finish of the leather I would be most grateful,
or point me to any websites that give the best info.
Cheers

Gliptone do some very good stuff for leather, one is a cleaner and one a conditioner, and both highly recommended.
For interior plastics, there are lots of products, but Einszett gets good comments, and I use 303 Aerospace protectant myself.
Carpets would normally be fine with a good brush and hoover, although if stained almost any proprietary carpet cleaner should be fine.
Happy cleaning!

Gliptone all the way for the leather, its all I ever use now. The cleaner has never failed to remove dirt even when leather looked ok, and the conditioner works wonders and as a plus point leave a real leather scent, like when it was new (not the false air freshener type).
On the plastics, I prefer Swissvax Protection (matt finish) this leaves a like new finish whilst offering protection from UV rays as well.
