Evening chaps, my 330 touring E46 has a small (3cm) vertical dent consistent with a door opening into it (my guess). What is the best course to remedy this problem? Are the 'Paintless dent removal' people any good?Or is this a job for a paint shop? I am reluctant to have it repaired and painted owing to concerns over matching or blending into the adjoining panels....Any suggestions?

Thanks, Dominic

Hi Dom,
The 'dent removal' people are excellent. I've seen before and after (exactly what you are describing pertaining to the small crease on door) and id have no hesitation in choosing this route.

Dominic, as with everything Paintless Dent Removal is a skill and the more experienced the person, the better the job will be.

I have used a chap on the outskirts of Southampton before (www.mydent.co.uk), he was absolutely brilliant, he got a really tricky dent out of the roof of my Audi A4, right on the edge, I was chuffed to bits and he was very professional and didn't leave a mark when he removed the headlining.

Hi Dominic,

Was just flicking through the forum and noticed that you had a dent. Did you manage to get it sorted?
If not, we are a small but professional dent removal firm and take great pride in our work and would be happy to have a look at your car. We are located in Southborough, Tonbridge just off A21.

Hope this is of help
