Does anyone have a paint code for "Pantone Violet" that my local body shop could order/mix against?

If they have a dupont mixing scheme, they can do a standard search on their CDROM with manufacturer=Pantone and colour name=violet. Other mixing systems may have a similar feature...

Failing that, if they or their paint supplier have a spectrophotometer, just scan a colour card of the appropriate pantone number for a recipe.

I'm not aware of any car manufacturer that advertise a particular paint code as officially a pantone number, so I don't think supplying a manufacturer's paint code to give you a match is a possibility...

Hi, not as far as I'm aware, I believe its the closest you can get to the TVR purple logo.

I'm guessing somewhere around colour number 253 on the chart linked off this site http://www.pcblabel.com/newsite/color_chart.html#

Or are the numbers on this site any more use? http://www.novo.dk/composite-144.htm
