Mothers Reflections Top Coat
Discussion
Anyone use this?
I've been using it as a final coat after Mother's sealer & glaze and Mother's California Gold Carnauba wax (after a recommendation on the TVRCC forum). However....I'm not sure that I'm getting much benefit from the top coat other than providing my neighbours with further evidence of my burgeoning mental illness......
Photo of the finished product below but I'm not sure that this was much (if any) improvement after the second coat of wax.

By the time you're on to two/three layers of wax or LSP, I think it is very much a case of diminishing returns. A good wax correctly layered is likely to far out do a product like this, in my opinion.
If you are interested in experimenting with the wax side of things, try Dodo Juice Purple Haze. Strange name but a top result on dark cars...

Looks good, but how long are you leaving each wax coat before aplying a second? I would also suggest exploring the other waxes available to deepen the shine!!!
About 24 hours between coats which was a bit of a PITA as it's amazing how much dust and dirt it attracts just sat in the garage overnight. How long should it be?

I've just typed "Dodo Juice" into Google which in retrospect and given that I'm at work, may not have been the best idea I've ever had.... Still, no taps on the shoulder from HR just yet.I'll give this a go when I've exhausted my supply of Mothers. Where's best to buy from?
Dodo is available from cleanandshiny and seriousperformance and well worth a try.
As for dust in the garage, get yourself some detailing spray and use that liberally between waxing - works for me on a solid black car without any major headaches.
You will get to the point of no further improvement eventually - happened to me when I got to 4 coats of Zymol Concours - 5th coat didn't seem to improve the look noticeably

Hi Harvey, It's my current final step favourite on the "S". I use it over several layers of P21s and it gives a really nice wet look to the paintwork.
Very impressed with it as are a lot of American users over at Autopia.org
Thanks Mark. Inspired by your post I've come home and given it another go on the bits I didn't go over last night and I can see what you mean- looks almost sticky if that makes sense (it isn't).Very impressed with it as are a lot of American users over at Autopia.org
Can you (or anyone else for that matter) explain what you mean by your post on the S forum about it not containing cleaners. Do waxes normally have a cleaning action?
Treat me gently, I'm only a beginner....
Polishes 'clean' ie rub away paint, fil scratches and shallow swirl marks.
Glazes enrich the polish...and help the car shine or ping
Sealants keep the paint looking fresh and seal in the polish and glaze
Wax allows the whole car to reflect colours, enable water to bead, and protect the paintwork and colour if layered.
A simple overview without getting over technical. Does wax Clean, no, does wax fill in swirls and scratches....no.
