Just about to spend a couple of days doing a proper job on the wife's car and thought that I'd do the exterior before the interior.

Either way there will be some remedial work on the bit that I did first, but I think this way is better than doing the interior first then traipsing muck in.

Sensible or not?

Hi

Not a silly question at all. If you have a couple of days. Spend a good day doing the exterior. Then the next day doing the interior. Why this way, because once you have cleaned all the sills and door shuts some of the dirt and grime will end up inside on the interior (plus the drive way will be dry the next day so you wont be putting more dirt in with your shoes).thumbup

depends if you're planning to shampoo the carpets and seats? if you are do the inside first and then put the heaters on full while you do the outside. will help to dry it out.

Cheers guys. No need to shampoo carpets, and seats are leather.

Gotta scuff-master the seats, so when this is delivered I'll check to see if there is any delay/drying period. Otherwise exterior first.

Off to clean and paint the calipers now, then exterior tomorrow and interior Friday (after collecting refurbed wheels).

Crikey; my wife is getting her pound of flesh from me, AND plenty of £s too!
