Carcoon storage bag
Discussion
Hi guys
I'am about to buy a storage bag for my Dax Rush. I've been looking at to different types the Permabag and the Carcoon. The good thing about the Permabag is that it doesn't reguire any electricity, whereas the Carcoon does. This is quite important as i don't have any power in my garage. The Permabag is the cheapest, but i've gotten a really good offer on a Carcoon. So i was wondering if any of you guys know if it is possible to run it on a car battery?

If you are going to keep the car off of the road for weeks at a time, the Carcoon is an outstanding purchase. I would look at getting electricty into your garage if you are serious about long term car storage. the car battery option will not work due to the power drain.
Well the thing it is not possible for me to get electricity in the garage, as it is rented. The carcoon will drain the battery power. They will switch to battery power if you have a power cut and the Accumate will turn off power to the Carcoon when it senses the battery running flat. Unfortunately you do need power although they are only about 2p per day to run. No chance of running an extension lead?
Permabag is your best bet.
