Hi guys,

Anyone any recommendations for the best long life paint sealant for old classics?

Same as for modern cars really. Get the paint in the condition you want first and then seal. Older cars may have single stage paint (meaning you get co,our transfer onto your cloths) but this just needs a careful touch; the 1982 Rolls Silver Spirit I detailed a fortnight ago was light metallic blue but single stage and the hardest paint I've ever polished. It looked lovely when finished though!

Jetseal 109, Zaino, Klasse all do a very good job. If they're garaged and high days/holidays use then personally I'd go with Zymol as it does have good durability for a wax and doesn't arf look nice too.
