which stopper?

Hi,
anyone reccommend me a good polyester stopper for use with U-pol smooth 7 please.

I use lechler spat o rapid.

Or you could visit your local Brown Bros who are upol stockists. They will have stocks of upol topstop, that is if you want to use the same manufacturer.

We keep stock of either the UPol topstop red or gold, both are excellent. Whether or not the gold is worth the premium over the red is debatable though. We use them over the Easy-Sand filler though - I think part of the point of the UPol Smooth is that a stopper shouldn't be necessary over it - you should generally be able to move directly to primer if you've been careful not to whip air bubbles into it when mixing.

Unfortunately not, it still pinholes, even if you use a food mixer
