Convertible Window Rubber Chatter

What do people think the best way to stop the rubbers chattering on the windows of a convertible is? I've tried silicone spray, works for a short while but makes a mess of the windows when it dribbles down. Tried that so called dry lube with PTFE in it used on bike chains, didnt make any difference. Is there anything you can buy specifically for the job?
