Guys
Some advice please, I've just bought an M3 which was diamondbrited 12 months ago, is it worth perservering with their products or should I just wash and wax like I've done in the past?
Thanks
Gareth

Don't really have much experience with the courtesy diamondbrite pack that comes with the car, if your mormal routine works for you then would stick with that, there's a good chance that the Diamondbrite has probably come to an end now durability wise, 12 months is about as good as it gets and not the claimed 3 years or so the dealer would lead you to believe, so would probably look at a little maintenance and re-protecting the finish.

I concur with gleammachine...also has a lot to do with how it was applied in the first place.

Best thing to do is follow your own washing technique as it wont harm whats on there already.

Hi,

I used to work in a dealership a few years back and found the Diamondbrite products to be pretty poor to say the least,

so i would agree with the other posts and suggest a regular wash and decent quality polish like zymol would be better than continuing with the diamondbrite conserver.

I found the auto glym and auto smart to be the better paint protection treatments especially auto smart silverseal, but they're really designed for people who normally dont bother waxing their cars. Those of us who spend time looking after and regularly polishing our cars dont really gain anything as the paintwork is already protected from all those sunday morning's polishes!
