Been lurking on here for a while but i am in need of the extensive knowlege the PH community contains so here goes on my first post

I left my car on the road outside a mates house and came out a few hours later to find two muddy paw prints on the door after washing i now have a lovely set of claw marks on my door!!!

Is this beyond the abilities of a detailer as i was hoping to get it corrected anyway?

I do also have couple of stone chips in the bonnet that will need a visit to a chips away guy so i could also try them?

Any recommendations are welcolm

Cheers

Should mention the car is a 1 Series in Sapphire Black

Its hard to tell for sure from your pics, even they are good.

Certainly a good detailer will be able to improve the appearance, by taking the edge off the scratch you will reduce the visual effect of it.

I Worked on an MX5 last summer that someone had keyed along the rear wing. Whilst the scratch was too deep to remove totally, It could be improved to a condition where the owner was quite happy not to bother about getting it re-painted.

Before:-

And after:-

There are a few very good detailers around your area who are on here, well worth the investment.

Cheers

Cheers for the info ally, I have been meaning to get it detailed since i foolishly let bmw valet it at its last service, so i guess the best thing will be to find somebody in the local area to give it a look over.
