Dear sirs,
I have read these forums with great interest and am thouroughly confused.
The story so far. I have washed my light blue metallic Esprit with Autoglym washing stuff, then after that i have given it an all over Polish so the paintwork now looks and feels flat and shiny. What now? I understand the polish was to remove the topmost clear-coat of paint protection and contiminates. Should i now seal this with some product? im asuming a good wax to protect and enhance the polish beneath... Is this correct and if so what?
Many thanks

There are a few more steps i'd personally take and recommend before polishing ie clay bar, re wash & paint cleanse. But if you are happy with where you are then yes you should get a protectant on there. There are many, many, many options and you can spend thousands on a wax. What other products have you already got and how much would you be willing to spend?
Personally i'd look at the dodo waxes. either on of the colour charges waxes (around £30 a tub) or if you want to pay a little more then supernatural (£65 or £95 depending on if you want a flashy wooden tub or a plastic one).
