Can you help re salt spots after ferry trip?

well I can only think it is salt, it resembles white overspray. Took the Aston on a 7 hour each way ferry trip to Ireland with the car parked out on deck. When I finished washing and rinsing off I've found solid and hard white specks adhering to every surface. The only way they come off is with me scratching repeatedly on each one with a fingernail! I've tried hotter water with shampoo and sponge with no success.
What should I do? Continue with fingernail treatment on each little spot or have you any other ideas please?

hi get some clay that should get rid of the marks-Bilt Hamber is good as you can use water as a lube.if you look on here

Try a clay bar, something like Bilt Hamber soft, failing that try white vinager.

I wouldn't clay it if it was my car. Wouldn't fancy the risk of scratching with those hard deposits. Get some of the Bounty kitchen roll and soak it well. Lay it over the affected areas for about 15 mins. If water's not enough then switch to vinegar.
