First time I've posted in this particular bit of PH....I have a new black company car..it gets washed once a week with Autoglym car shampoo.I rinse of with clean water and then leather dry.Problem is even though I have a good quality leather I still get a streaky finish...is there a better product than a leather for drying the car? It is worth the effort 'cos it looks really nice when it's clean (If you ignore the streaks..smile)

You could do with picking up something like this which should help, much quicker than a leather and also a lot better for the paint..

Should stop the streaks.

Two possible problems. Firstly hard water can cause streaks and secondly if the car is not properly rinsed....use an open hosepipe to sheet of the water, not a sprayer, water marks will remain.

A decent drying towel is a must and possibly some Meguiars Last Touch to aid drying!

Just to add to the above, the more protection you have on there, ie wax, the better the water will sheet off and the chances of streaking will be reduced even further. You can also buy filters to put inline on your hosepipe. Or get yourself a waterbutt and use the rain water to rinse off.
