Well, I have filled the chips with touch up paint and then flatted back to the car using 1200 grade paper and washing up liquid with water.I am now at the point of a flat finish in the paint.I have just been to the local carshop and asked about some smoother paper up to 2000, although there was a guy who worked in a bodyshop was in there who said to get some Farecla G6 and G3, which was found by the shop owner much to everyones surprise. Is this the next stage to use this with a mop and water, or do I need other ways of approaching this. The repairs I have done look so much better, just need to get the depth back now.

Youll be hard pushed getting 1200 marks out with G3, I would bring it down slightly 1500 but probably better 2000 then G3 etc best used with a mop, by hand will work but be prepaired to have arms like popeye by the time youve finished wink
