Hi, has anybody got any experince/knowledge of this Dr colour chip paint repair stuff. Got a few small stone chips on the front and wheel arches of my car which is black and was wondering if this stuff is wortb spending 40 quid on. Thanks

If you do a search on detailing world your find a thread about it it seems to get a thumb up from them

I am going to give it a go after some keyed the side of the missus's car last week

Used it on mine: worked a treat with a bit of practise, a metallic black (dark blue) 5 series. Filed some hefty chips & some front rash really well. Not quite as successful on scratche though, but now the warm weathers back I'll be ahving another go.

Cheers guys, I've ordered the biggest bottle! Got a black M3 which has the usuall rash and small chips. Costs £70 with postage which is a bit steep but read loads of good stuff about it! I'll post some before and after pics when it's done.

No worries - I'd just say, do it the way they advise, the kits have all the bits you'll need, except some white spirit to clean in the first place: better to have a a trial go in an inconspicuous place, then get braver. (And don't perch the bottle on the front panel, forget & close the bonnet....eek)
