Painting with a HVLP
Discussion
Can you get a decent result with painting parts such as wheels with a set-up like this ?

Have several sets of whels which could do with painting , plus loads of other bits to do with the restoration of my car, such as fuel tank and suspension parts.
As suggestions and advice would be most welcome.

I would think it would be ok for unseen parts as you suggest, suspension and fuel tank. Wheels I would be a bit more dubious about, getting in and around spokes would, I would imagine, be a tad awkward with a gun and pot of that size, I dare say with a bit practice you might be able to manouver the equipment to the desired effect.
Just noticed its a 2.0 needle and nozzle, which might be ok for old celly paint or emulsion, not so much with base and clear.

No, they are awfull for anything other than water.
Problem with a turbine type system like this, is they get hot, these have a s
tty short hose made of plastic.
Turbine gets hot
Hose gets hot
Air gets hot
Paint gets hot
Paint starts to set as its sprayed
Where as a system like I use in work, same principle but costs a f
k load more, has a long rubber hose, which dissapates the heat, so cold air comes out the end.
