Your welcome Andy, you will be blown away with the results of your car when you pick it up. I have been trying to get hold of Kelly on his mobile for a couple of days now, I need to buy some products and book my car in for it’s 6 monthly maintenance plan. So I popped down there tonight to see if he was still working (of course he was), to purchase my products and book my car in. I saw your car, OMG what has happened to your paintwork........... That will look unbelievable when Kelly has finished it, he was telling me he is really busy and my car would have to join the queue now and he is working till the early hours most nights. You timed that just right to get your car done. Very nice car by the way, hope you like your car when you pick it up, and post some pics on here so we can see the end result.

Will do. Yes, it seems, looking at the list on the board, that i must have called at the right time.

As to what happened; the bodyshop i always used went out of business so i followed one of the staff to another one. Big mistake. I didn't realise how good the first one was....i knew they were good but these people mopped it with something horrible. Funnily enough it looked fine when i picked it up.....three days later it looked like that!

I've wanted it detailed for a while, so this just brought it forward. Its a competition car (I sprinted it at Lydden yesterday morning before dropping it off) but i also want it looking good; a difficult thing. Its been 'swirly' and such for a while.

When I saw the car, I didn't think it was an everyday car. It looks a bit of a beast, being black it will look amazing when Kelly has finished detailing it. smile

Tim i wish it was me who jus got back from holiday wink

my working hours are getting silly and thinkng of keeping the shutter door and front door locked during working hours just so i can get on with the work and reduce the back log , stopped answering the phone this week as i have been on andys (papercup) all week and still not finished just due to way to many disruptions asking for free advice mainly or some company trying to sale me something i dont want or need furious

anyway here is a couple of the before pics from the bodyshops handy work , and also found loads of over spray on the windows and even on the inside of the rear plastic screen which i will be on tomorrow .

Here is the link to video of paint before

That's some of the worst buffer trailing i've ever seen! Looks like a bit of everything there. Looking forward to seeing the results though.

Will leave it a while before i pop down and say hi if you're uber busy. Unless you want someone to make the tea one day lol.

Those holograms are outrageous.... amazing a bodyshop could kick it out looking like that. Glad Kelly is sorting it. Batten down the hatches, Kel and get through 'the list'... there's plenty of uncorrected paint out there that needs your touch wink

bow

Looks amazing, can't wait to see it tomorrow morning when i pick it up.

Just heard as well that Kelly & Crew are staying late to fit the new side skirts that were delivered this morning; major props to Kelly et al for going the extra mile. Amazing service, I am speechless.

Big mention to John @ Atomic Rex who, after a phone call Monday afternoon, managed to get these skirts ordered, manufactured, lacquered and delivered in four days. Impressive stuff.

Well done Andy, Kelly has done a fantastic job there given the previous person had used a brillo pad to mop it with! redface

The car looks amazing!! Cheers for the kind words, thankfully the stages that others were involved all came together nicely smile

Shame the next sprint will get it filthy again lol

Next time you are planning to come down at Combe...give me a ring, and I will join you in one of our cars smile

'Kin hell Kelly, making me quite glad I was on holiday and missed the thread LOL!
Nothing like a challenge to set the men from the boys and you've done us all proud and get that on your website as the definitive before and after set of pictures!!!! Excellent job.
Know what you mean about ignoring the phone, had a woman call me ridiculous and hang up on me cos I had 3 weeks work in the diary before I could even think about seeing to her needs...blimey!
Best wishes

That looks amazing, what a tranformation. I think those are the worst buffer trails I have ever seen, Kelly will always go that extra mile (or 2 or 3) for customers and if it means staying late, so be it.

Top work Kelly. clap

Hope you enjoy your shiney shiney race car.... driving
