Perhaps due to poor maintenance for the late change of windshield wiper it left scrape on the front screen which is quite disturbing. It becomes clear when I was trying to clean the screen using windshield cleaner.

Having checked it and found surface of the screen was fine, but the scrape wouldn't want to disappear. The more I put fluid on the screen the more it becomes clear. It was unidentifiable when buying the car as it was in the mix with crust on the surface of the screen. Is the scrape as such recoverable, How?

Firstly you can use clay to really clean the screen then polish with something like Einszett Glass Polish. For the best results using a PC or a G220 (Random Orbital Polishers) with a decent pad makes greater sense but not essential.

I know compound and waxing, is clay referring to the same thing of compound and waxing? Do I have to wax it and then polishing it using glass polish? I'll wipe it off myself before trying Random Orbital Polisher.

This is frustrating

Order some Bilt Hamber Auto Clay which uses water as a lubricant and will remove from glass, paintwork, plastic etc a variety of bonded contaminents. Then use the Einszett to polish the glass and remove any remaining marks in addition to smoothing away the edges of scratches.

Finally spend some money on some decent screen wash too, not the cheap blue stuff available from the highstreet / garage.

Yes I think clay works like smooth sandpaper to soften surface of the scrape. I tried compound and polished it last night. The screen looks far better than before, I guess it will give better result after several applications.

This is really helpful. Thanks
