13 Year Old White Peugeot
Discussion
Hello all,
I have bought a 13 year old white peugeot and the paintwork is sound, but it has 13 years of old grime. What is the best products for getting rid of the grime - thought maybe T-Cut. Should I do it myself or pay somebody - just want it to look good and afraid I may make her look worse.
Any advice on good products would be most appreciated.
Thanks
Jamie

First things first. What do you already have and how do you usually clean a car?
You will have to give the car a decent wash with two buckets, grit guards and then rinse with an open hose.
You will need to clay the car, Bilt Hamber Auto Clay is pretty good as it uses water as a lubricant, but there are a number of clays out there that also do a great job.
Wash the car again, dry then polish. Don't use T-Cut, throw that stuff away.
Do you have access to a G220 / Porter Cable Random Polisher?
How good is the paint, any rust, swirl marks etc?
What are the alloys like, wheel arches, any tar spots, what about the door shuts, exhaust, plastics (have they gone white) and how is the interior?
With more info we here can help suggesting how to make your car shine, but as always Knowledge is Power!!
