After getting paint protection for my new Focus RS (not delivered yet), think I have a short list of two Ventureshield and Paintshield.

Are reading the forums on here haven't really got a defintive anwser on which is best or the differences between them.

Appreciate any comments good or bad on experiences, particular if you had it done on a Focus.

Users aren't allowed to post details of their bad experiences with Ventureshield, as they complain to PetrolTed and get the threads (including pictures) deleted.

Try searching on here http://www.clubscuderia.co.uk/forum/showthread.php...

It might also be worth searching on that forum for opinions of Paintshield wink

Probably says why not to chose VS then. If they cant stand people passing comment not the right provider. Most companies work to improve their image not attempt to silence any criticism.

I have always used Paintshield. Now on the third car and if anything goes wrong they always hold their hands up and fix it.

Whats the technical differences between the two films.

Bad experiences can be down to the install or prep of the paint work not the technical performances of the films.

My dad has ventureshield fitted to his 09 FRS. Its been on for well over a month now, and he's really happy with the quality. It was Defendall in Perth who fitted the kit, and they were really helpful.
His car was the 2nd in the country to be done, and they even made up some custom bits for him for some extra protection.

Kit + fitting for about £750 i think.
