Hyundai Coupe SIII paint correction detail
Discussion
Heres a enhancement detail i done on a Hyundai Coupe for a guy at work, it was a 58 plate and had only covered 1100 miles, however it had been the demo car for the showroom, so had been shipped around showrooms and shopping centers etc, and i guessed it had just been getting a quick wipe down, inflicting some swirling and scratches from people looking around the car.
a few before picture before

So first up were the wheels, theres were done with Megs WB and an ez-detail brush, using autismart tardis to remove inner tar spots they had picked up.

tyres were done with megs De-greaser, and arches with Megs APC

there was still some dealer stickers on the alloys which were removed with tardis.
The car was then foamed with mixture of PH snowfoam and Megs shapoo plus mixture,

i went round all the window seals and badges etc with a small detailing brush

The car was then rinsed and washed 2BM with dodo juice born to be mild and dodo juice wash and rinse buckets with a sonus sheep skin mitt
the buckets after the wash stage

the car was then rinsed and clayed with sonus green fine clay using megs last touch as a lubricant. car was then washed again with fress water, then moved inside and dried off with ultra plush dring towels, sonus perfect shine towels and last touch as a drying aid.
The car was then taped up ready for correction, it was a hard colour to get a picture of the defects and swirls under the site lights, heres what i got
before

after

the correction was done via a megs G220, a sonus sfx-2 pad and megs #205 Because it was so hard to get a good photo, it was takig up too much time, so i carried on without taking that many pictures.
a reflection picture i got, not the best

a small scuff on the fron bumper

and after

the rest of the car was done with the same combo.
Next up was a coat of CG jetseal 109, once this was curing i tackles the interior,
before

after

leather before

and a slight 50/50

the leather and mats were cleaned with megs APC and the leather was treated with Megs gold class leather care.
The Jet seal was then buffed off after around 40min, and a layer of dodo juice purple haze was applied, then buffed off usingeurow towels after about 15min.
The wheels were sealed using poorboys wheel seal, tyres dressed with Megs endurance gel and arches with CG bare bones.
The car was the given a coat of red mist after around 45min, this seemed to add alot too the finish.
the gass was done with AG glass cleaner and the trim with Megs gold class trim care.
The exhaust was polished with belgom alu and 00grade wire wool.
the finished pictures............

thanks for looking, all coments welcome
