Whats the best way to remove them from the paintwork obviously without damaging the paint?

There's hundreds of tiny white paint specks down the passenger side of my black M3 - very annoying as i'm sure you can agree.

A clay bar should do the trick mate

Sonus green is a nice clay that wont mark the painwork.
Use the clay with a lube like Megs Last Touch Detailer

Elite car care sell what you need.

I don't really want to spend £20 on a big tub of the meguiars stuff. Is there a smaller, cheaper alternative to use with the clay?

Thanks

Aside from Ally's generous offer, use the only-water-required Bilt Hamber Auto-clay from www.carnaubawaxshop.co.uk
If it's emulsion based paint, then even their Surfex HD with very hot water through a garden-type sprayer may work.
