Zymol how good?
Discussion
Just wanted to get a few opinions. I have used Zymol on my wife's Boxster, Whilst it looks great I'm not sure that i can see any difference from the finish compared to when I use Maguires. Have I been taken in by the"it's expensive so must be good" view or are my eyes not as good as they could be.
The price often comes down to durability, the level of protection and ease of use. It does also factor in the look of the finish. To get the best looking finish however comes down to paint preperation. If you've not polished your car it may be why you're not seeing a huge difference between the Zymol and Megs.
I done a wax test on my car a few moths back and the Zymol was the first to go. Buy Dodo wax, mine's still protecting the car. It's cheaper than Zymol, looks far better than Zymol, is easier to use, smells better and I've proven to myself that it protects better and far, far longer.

Waxes only enhance (and even then it's very subjective) the paintwork it's applied to.
In other words, if the preparation of the paintwork - claying, swirl correction, aren't done, then it's not going to look much better with a wax applied, no matter how expensive the one used.
So, you've been expecting too much, hence why you're underwhelmed with the outcome, more than likely.
