Have to say mate that is a fantastic turnaround, did you ask how it got that bad?

Great work. I did a similar job on an Audi Avant that the previous owner had abused. The driveway to their house had brambles down one side and a wall the other. So the lady owner didnt scratch the car on the wall, she listened out for the brambles touching the paintwork on the passenger side..that way she knew she had cleared the wall....:ekk:

Anyway the new owner bought the car unseen on Ebay and bought it to me....took a couple of days but they were over the moon. It does feel good when you transform something that bad doesnt it.....

After a few passes..

Outside the difference was clear..

Again, great work.

A big turnaround always makes for great shots, good advert for detailing as a whole.

I've seen that Exige before - I think on DW?

Horror pics like this give me the same kind of queasy feeling as photos of human injuries.

I have signed up to detailing world a few months back with the intention of posting my work under the studio section , just not got round to doing just that yet due to work load so if you have seen it , its either pics from my website or a different one . wink

Got Rolls Royce Phantom , Ford GT , Classic Rolls , and BMW new M3's wet sand details plus a few more to sort through in readiness for detailing world threads . biggrin

No, but the current owner picked it up cheap as a result - so he was thrilled to bits and £££ in even after paying for a full correction.

Someone who only sees the car as a means of getting from A-B, nothing more?

I guess so. My lawn could use a mowing, but it's not that important to me and I would rather spend my free time with the car.

Interestingly, in my experience there is reverse correlation between the state of people's cars and that of their gardens. That is to say, people who neglect the condition of their cars tend to have meticulously-maintained gardens, and vice-versa.
