I was washing the steed at the weekend and my suds disappeared very quickly. I use Maguires Gold Class and use about 2 or3 cap fulls per bucket. 1st dip with my lambs wool mit is fine but then on the 3rd or 4th the suds are completely gone. Does anyone know what is going on?

Thanks

You're not agitating the water?
Wouldn't get hung up about suds, as they're not really an important part of cleaning, but add the shampoo into the running water rather than once the bucket is filled, if you want the suds.

I always put in the solution first then add the water so there is plenty of foam to start, it just disappears very quickly.

Never liked the CG shampoo much, and have heard a number of instances where users have found it to strip their wax/sealant if they've been a bit blasé with the measurement.
Either put up with it as is, until it's done, then change to something better, or take it back to where you bought it from, and get it exchanged/refunded - Halfords are pretty good like that, if that's where it was bought from.

Use up what you have and then change shampoos. There are some top shampoos available today from a number of companies for not daft money and do a great job.

I've about half left of the big bottle unfortunately - might just use it on the wife's car and buy some new shampoo hehe

Any suggestions as to what I could switch to?

Bilt Hamber Auto-wash,and Dodo Juice Born To Be Mild are my main two. Chemical Guys Glossworkz is just out, and with a sample coming to try out, it may be the one 2-in-1 shampoo I do recommend.
Traditionally I've been anti anything other than a straight forward shampoo that rinses off easily, leaving nothing behind.
Having tried the Duragloss 901 "gloss enhancing" shampoo, and failed to be impressed as a shampoo, and seeing any difference over the main two I've recommended, then it will take a fair bit of convincing that it's worth paying the extra over other standard CG shampoos.
