My bottle of Red Mist spat its dummy out over the weekend with the trigger issue....argh! frown .

Anyway, an email fired off to Dodo Juice today had a reply from Dom within the hour pretty much and a new trigger on its way out to me over the next few days.

Cant say better than that, what fantastic service to back up an already great product smileclap

Nice one.

Glad we could help... we're currently sourcing/testing more resilient trigger sprays but you'd be amazed at the glut of cheap and temperamental ones compared to beautifully handmade ones. A lot of the chemical resistant ones are of the greenfly killer type in much larger bottles, but whilst the ones currently used for Red Mist are chemical resistant the build quality isn't perfect. And to think it took us 5 attempts to source them in the first place wink

Anyway, evolution makes the breed stronger and we should have a new spray head design at some point soon(ish).

Dom,

Quick question for you regarding Lime Prime. As you know from my other thread I've recently purcahsed some Sonus products (Restore & Final Finish) which worked wonders on my friends BMW.

I'm going to be doing our Ford Focus Estate at some point in the future and wondered whether i'd be better off using Lime Prime instead of the Final Finish or on top of the FF?

Or is it going to be doing the same as FF and not worth doing?

Cheers,
Phill

If you're happy with the Sonus, keep using it. I don't know it very well so can't really comment one vs the other, but it may be worth trying Lime Prime at some point if you haven't done so, as although it may be the same stage as a product, some find it easier to use (application, removal) or just prefer the way it works or the look it gives.

It certainly doesn't sound like you need to use it on top.

There is a glaze we do, Lime Prime Lite, that can sit on top of polishes (but under a wax or sealant) to give extra gloss. So if you wanted to add a stage, that would be the one, but don't complicate your regime if happy with what you have smile

Cheers Dom.

There are some many different options! Might try the Lime Prime Lite and see how I get on with that.

Thanks,
Phill

How?! Surely that's on 2-3 cars where the products used weekly?
