Cleaning Grey Cloth Upholstery...Watermark Nightmare!

I have a 51 plate Passat with grey cloth upholstery. Cleaning it is a nightmare as it shows up every watermark. Is there a good product/method to cleaning? Is there a product that protects from watermarks after cleaning?

A wet and dry vac is the best option.

I'd use a cleaner that has enzyme removal properties. Spray by hand, work in lightly and use plenty of terry towels to dab and lift the excess. I wouldn't use a wet/dry vac not this time of year anyway.
