I would like to paint an half circle onto the side of my vintage caravan, I've scribed the half circle but am a little puzzeled as to how to mask up the curved area. This is most likely to be achingly simple but I just cannot see the method at the moment, help please.

Buy some 'fine line' tape. Then mask around that. Your local Brown Brothers should stock it.

'Fine Line Tape', OK thanks XL5. Presume this tape must be very flexi so stick this around my mark and then masking tape around its perimeter. Knew there must be an easy answer.

Yep. You can buy different widths. It's what the custom sprayers use to mask up flames etc. Its not expensive either.

Would recommend the 3mm Fineline (& 3M as the only really acceptable manufacturer) as it has enough movement in it to enable a good curve but is strong enough to withstand bending around without 'cornering/50p'ing'.
We use a helluva lot of it for doing the satin black lines through F'car centres & luggage/engine reveals etc.
