Hi all, Could anyone tell me the best way to clean the area of the windscreen that the wipers do not reach. I use a cream cleaner and fast glass but I still get the arch sort of shape above the area the wipers don't wipe. Please advise.

Many thanks

I don't think that's dirt, more of an ingrained "scratch" that builds up with wiper use - a brand new windscreen doesn't have it.

I would have thought that the only way to rid yourself of that would be to give the whole screen some sort of jewellers polish - a hell of a job!

No its not scratched, its just ground on and never cleans up as good as the part of the screen the wipers cover

Clay bar can be quite effective in this scenario, as too can IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol/Isoprpanol). Panel wipe is effectively IPA diluted, iirc, so a local motor factors doing bodyshop supplies will have it.
