..but wondering how to give my car a slightly better clean.

Current routine;
1. Rinse with hose on shower
2. Wash using Carplan Triplewax Car Shampoo + Microfibre cloths (Cheapo ones off ebay) and clean tyres with shampoo then Auto Glym wheel cleaner
3. Rinse and wipe (Wipe car using microfibre whilst squirting hosepipe at the cloth - tends to cover me in water but it gives an ok clean)
4. Polish with some Autoglym spray stuff thats lasted forever + cotton polishing cloth
5. Wax using turtlewax

Anyone have any suggestions for improvements? Either technique or products.. as long as they don't cost a fortune tongue out, willing to spend up to £50 max for any different products

Preferably at Halfrauds or similar since as I've got a free weekend this weekend and the weather forecast is decent!

I would pop over to detailingworld as that will give you everything you need (and more)

I'd recommend the two bucket method and a wash mit - that should stop additional scratches/swirls getting added to the car.

Chemical Guys stuff is good value.

I'd suggest a clay bar and some Megs Last Touch as a detailing spray, some Dodo Lime Prime then finish with the wax.

So....

1. Rinse car
2. Wash car using shampoo and 2 bucket method
3. Clay bar the car
4. Wash/re-rinse the car
5. Dry
6. Polish with Dodo Lime Prime
7. Wax with Megs #16 wax or similar
8. Final wipe down with Megs Last Touch and a clean MF cloth.
