Watermarked seats - valet in Mid-Somerset?

My GTV used to have a leak from the sunroof and both front seats have water marks - whats the best way to sort this out? I tried some of that foaming stuff that you work in with a brush and then wipe off, but that didnt work.

I guess what it needs is a wet & dry vacuum - but I dont have / know how to use one of these. Is it best left to a detailer? t'internet says they can be had relatively inexpensively (£30) will these do the job?

You could get a decent detailer in, would maybe pay to get the whole interior done at the same time.
