repairing fibreglass bodywork

Had a bit of a bump in our FF1600 and one of the sidepods has a crack underneath.

Whats the best way of bonding it all back together again so it regains its structural integrity? Thought of ally sheet pop rivetted on, but would look a bit Fred Flintstone on a nice '07 car.

All you TVR chaps must know a thing or two.....
