Interior smell problem...is this the right forum?
Discussion
I have a BMW convertible, which I bought second hand this week.Prev owner was occasional car smoker, it does not smell of cigs, but really sweet smelling odour, seems to have been sprayed in the inside of the softtop...can I get rid of the smell, will it go eventually???
Any advice please.
Also do these leather smell things actually do any thing....

Yes, it's the right forum.
How to get rid of it depends on what's causing it. There are a variety of clever substances that will break down the various causes of interior odours.
If it's just a masking smell that's been blatted into the headlining to hide the smell of tobacco smoke, time will probably be enough - though you may then want an anti-cigarette treatment.
More persistent stuff (spilled milk is a nasty one) may need treatment with something designed to remove the source of the problem.
Any idea or way of finding out what you're dealing with?
