The waffle weave microfibre towels from Costco are good quality, robust, and excellent VFM. Pick up some of the general purpose microfibre cloths while you're there, and you're pretty set for most tasks.

Any decent waffle weave will do a good job....so long as you rinse your car and allow the wether to sheet off the surface.

Sonus, Chemical Guys etc all make great products and just look on any of the detailing sites to find he best prices.

The Polished bliss luxury drying towel from the polished bliss web site is the best drying towel on the planet bar none . I can dry both if my car's without wringing out and without scratching the paint work .

IMHO you can't go wrong with the Race Glaze OnePass Drying Towel - can dry a whole car eg XK8 without wringing and just gets better the more you use and wash it. Avoid towels with a distressed look - the don't seem to get a good press on other forums and from pros and get worse with age.
