Expansion Bottle

The water expansion bottle on my car is a kind of nasty yellowy colour, whereas it would have been clear when new. I assume this is just plastic decolouration and there's nothing that can be done, but just thought I'd check with you guys....

If you can take it out....do so and put in into your dishwasher.....I kid you not. Otherwise it will be a manual clean.

Cheers - I need to change the rad, so I could do that. Reckon it'll whiten it?!
