Get yourself a good wet vac. Mine is a numatic and is probably more powerful than you would need, but they have a large range, so im sure youll find one right for you.

I use Miele, won't use anything else. Their power is immense, I have a 2200 watt which puts most Henry etc to shame. Highly recommended.

What are you trying to do? If removing ground in dirt or wet mud / oils etc you will need a decent wet vac, if looking to just remove dust and sand / grit etc a Dyson is good enough with the right tools.

Hi,

Its a combination really

With the family car which is me/wife/5 kids and a dog then every now and then it needs more than a good hoover (more so over winter)

silly question - is a wet vac easy to use? can it be used as a normal hoover as well?

can i particular model be recommended please - id rather go for as powerful as possible, rather than buy an underpowered model and then need to upgrade.

Thanks again for your help

Paul

Thats my one.

They are easy to use. You spray the area you are working on with a fabric cleaner or apc and agitate with a brush. Then you put normal water in the wet vac and spray this on as you are sucking up the dirt. Simple.

Hi Paul
firstly , i have just replied to your email about alloy wheels wink take a look ,
secondly , the "henry" hoover will be fine for home use , in actual fact we use a henry everyday and its never lets us down , wont break the bank powerfull enough and even better you can buy one from costco at lakeside for a very good price (you will need to join if you are not a member thou).

The henry and george is what we used on both of your cars .

here is the specs

http://www.numatic.co.uk/products4.aspx?id=1&r...

or the wet vac version which we use too "George"

http://www.numatic.co.uk/products4.aspx?id=28

or even the middle option wet and dry "Charles"

http://www.numatic.co.uk/products4.aspx?id=27

but more suiting to you paul i think you should buy a "hetty" tongue out i am sure she has little more suck too thumbupwink

http://www.numatic.co.uk/products4.aspx?id=176

you would look good hoovering your bright yellow supercar with a pink hoover .

Thirdly, not sure if i sent you the latest PDF files for the full comprehensive price lists which NOW covers form £10 valeting to £1000 detailing and beyond , so as you are not too far away from me you could go for a top up and interior clean etc .
The price lists include every thing possible and have bolt on options too , just waitng for web designers to add it all to website biggrin
