Removing wax/polish

When I last polished and waxed the car, I managed to get some on the hood piping where it meets the boot. It now shows up as white on the black fabric. I have tried using a tooth brush with some washing up liquid, to remove it, and when wet it appears to have dissapeared, but when it dries its back !

Any suggestions how to remove it any one ?

fabric hood cleaner? wouldn't use washing up liquid!

Try a less "salty" cleaner - Bilt Hamber Surfex HD, or 303 Aerospace Fabric Cleaner.
