Does anyone know the colour codes for the Gulf Racing colours? I've heard that Ford Bermuda Blue and Peugeot Seville orange are very close, but was wondering if I could get the exact colours.

Cheers

Can't help you with the colours, but out of interest, what kind of car are you planning to paint?

ICI paint codes from a book I read ages ago, can't remember the title but I think it was written by an ex. JW team manager.

Light blue - P030-8013
Marigold - P030-3393

IIRC, the original colour scheme was from Llewellyn Ryland and was 3707 Zenith Blue; 3957 Tangerine; 3748 Navy Blue (separating line).

A received a email message from LR:

Dear Dirk-Jan Agter,
Thank you for your e-mail dated 25/11/2011.
We regret that Llewellyn Ryland no longer manufactures paints, we also have no record of supplying a colour
called Gulf Blue to Aston Martin.
Kind regards.

Managing Director

But luckily I received another message from Akzo-Nobel, who took over ICI stating they deliver the Gulf light blue with colour code FA06:GL. Colormapposition 464A4

Bloody hell, didn't expect to see this thread again!

I sorted the paints with a local supplier. It was to paint my track bike (now sold)

For future reference for anybody else, the colours come up as "Gulf Blue" and "Gulf Orange" under Porsche on my Spies Hecker paint scheme,so any bodyshop supplier using their paint should be able to find it!

The Gulf Colours are Powder Blue and Marigold , I don't know the paint codes but Powder Blue was an old triumph colour. To keep things 100% correct Autoart the car model company use the same colours on there Porsche 917 model cars.
