How to clean alloys?
Discussion
Hi guys,
Simple question. How do i remove the crap on the inside of my painted alloy wheels. I have tried all sorts. I have zymol wheel cleaner and have used WD40 but the stuff on the inside is almost like it is baked on?
Should I use a pressure washer? I don't want to use any products that damage the paint. I have a few cars but all have painted wheels, I just never seem to be able to get the wheels anywhere near as clean as I'd like!
Cheers
Dave

Simple. Get the wheels of of the car, lie them face down on supports or thick plastic tiles. Start off using something like Bilberry Wheel cleaner followed by some clay plus lube. If this does not work I would use some Klasse AIO which is a sealant and tar remover and when rubbed onto the inside or the wheel should remove a fair amount of the dust, tar, debris etc.
If not successful then use some Bilt Hamber Suffex HD, spray on neat and let settle before using a microfibre and water to remove.
Wash with shampoo and then wax your wheels to protect.
