Ive got a TVR cerbera that has been resprayed in the last 4 months. When I got it back I treated it with dodo lime prime and purple haze. Since then it got covered in builders dust which I washed of but it has a few very light swirl marks on it.
I want to hide these until I can get it detailed so I was going to clay the car give it a polish with AG SRP, lime prime it and then a coat of purple haze am I doing the right thing.

Lime prime and wax should be enough.

Either use SRP OR Lime Prime, they basically do the same thing. I used to think SRP 'filled' more but in our tests LP is also pretty good at filling. Either way, it is best to machine polish the swirls out at some point. The deeper swirls may not be filled at all.

thanks for the replies, I take it I dont need to clay the car first just wash and treat with dodo and wax.

You may as well give the claying a miss as there should not be much bonded to
the paint work as the car was painted recently.

Wouldn't you do better to use LP Lite? I understood that LP had some amount of abrasives in it that ought to be unecessary on a new paint car?

Rather than use timeframes to gauge whether contaminants have bonded to the paintwork or not, there's a very simple test - use your fingertips!
Wrap a bit of cling film over them, and while the paintwork is wet after rinsing, feel it.
Where (if) you feel any lumps and bumps, needs claying - it may be patches here and there (so the whole car doesn't need done, just those areas) or it may be widespread, in which case you'd do the whole car.

As per above, Lime Prime Lite might be the better option, if there's no light scratches to remove or mask with LP's fillers and micro-abrasives.
