Can anyone reccomend a decent or cheap DA Polisher?

Looking at the Kestral Das-6 or the Dodo Juice 'Buff Daddy' These are priced between £75 and £85. It would only get occasional use, so wondering if there is a cheaper option, or if there is a kit i could get for good value for money.

The DJ BD is a rebranded Kestral, which from what I believe to be the case, is the most reliable RO/DA on the market.
Certainly the only one to include a spare set or two of carbon brushes.
Even though you're only going to use it occasionally, I'd still advocate it as worth investing in - you never know when you or someone you know, gets a light scratch somehow, and this will remove all traces of its existence, provided it's not too deep of course.

Like some things in life, you buy something once, only to use it infrequently, but glad you did each time you reach for it. Whatever sacrifice you need to make in order to justify it, you'll not be ruing the fact you did so.

I have had a Kestrel DAS6 for about 18 months, and I really rate it. I was going to buy the Meguiars polisher, but they are more expensive, and early models had a technical problem. In fairness, Meguiars did offer excellent after sales service to address that problem.

For me the Kestrel has been a good buy and should last a long time. It is comfortable and easy to use.

If you don't want to spend alot of money, look at Ebay as used ones come up from time to time.
