My car and van i has tar spots all over the place , i have tried tar and bug remover, but it is ste,there must be something elce out there which dose the job , please help

autoglym tar remover does the job for me.

Margarine, and yes I'm deadly serious! Rub a bit on, leave it a minute or so and wipe it off.

Agree, amazing stuff, worth getting together with a few people and buying some to split if you aren't likely to be removing tar on a regular basis. I think 5L is the smallest size.

They do it on eBay for about £7 with G101 (All Purpose Cleaner) and some Back To Black which is very good, and the Tardis too.
