Can you darken the paintwork

I have a Citroen C2 which in the past has had a repair to the rear wheel arch. The paintwork has not been done brilliantly and very close up the paint is slightly lighter where part of the arch has been sanded. I have tried AutoGlym SRP and Megs scratch X to see if that would cure it as it is only a smallish area, but that hasn't worked. I have thought of using that colour magic stuff and wax to see if that will blend in, or am I going down the wrong road. Money is tight at the moment, so I am looking at ways to avoid the body shop.

Any suggestions most welcomed.

Refinish with correct colour & blend as necessary.

Or you'll just have to live with it.
