Plastic bumper trim is now faded to a very very very light grey. Would like to get it to to the original dark grey (not black). Any suitable products that you would advise? I'm a little strapped for cash as the student lifestyle doesn't allow for extra purchases, so concours spec prices are out of my league!

Thanks in advance

Bilt Hamber Auto-balm also works a treat on plastic trim.
How much it'll darken it compared to those mentioned above is open to debate.
Autoglym do a trim restorer product - spray on dye effectively, from what someone said the other day - might be worth contact them to see who your local area rep is, and meet up with him.
No idea how good it is though.

Firstly try heating it up with a hot air gun gently, this works a treat on Corsa trims etc.

and trust me, 28 year old plastic was faded!! but it has done wonders. very easy to apply, you use a very, very small amount too, maybe give it 2-3 coats and it's still looking brilliant after 5-6 weeks. takes about 1minute to do a wing mirror (tops!) it doesn't give a silly, artificial looking glossy finish, once it's cured, it's a matt finish, which looks nice and black. really faded stuff will need 2,3 or even 4 coats, letting it to cure in between layers.

alternatively, you could use GTechniq coating, which lasts 2 years, but it's not cheap!!
