Hi, have recently bought a 1987 Porsche 924S which is basically very tidy apart from a couple of minor cosmetic issues. One that is particularly bugging me is that there is a thin black rubber/plastic trim strip that goes round the whole beltline of the car - one or two pieces are starting to come away, but the section on the drivers door has gone completely.

I can source replacements, but the strip that's gone has left a rather sticky line of foam/adhesive residue on the door - can anyone recommend a method for removing this without trashing the paint?

Many thanks.

PS If anyone can recommend a good trimmer/upholsterer in the North Bucks/MK area I'd also be grateful - drivers seat base needs a repair or two...

Tardis by Autosmart will remove the glue residue. Barton & Sons in Luton are well worth contacting regarding your seat retrimming.
