While driving yesterday I came upon a large mess on the road! with a discarded tin!

I now have a sticky yellow mess along my sills/wheelarches the mess/tin appear to have been Evo Stick that has fallen orf the back of a builders lorry!

Any ideas on how to remove said sticky mess please?

Bilt Hamber Surfex HD would be my first choice. Start off with a diluted mixture maybe 50:50 and if needed go 80:20 product vs water.

Evostick, the brand name for glue, will require a tar & glue remover, such as Autosmart Tardis.
If 's something else, using Evo as the model of car, and stick with some sticky residue, then Tardis might not be sufficient.

I don't think Surfex HD would touch this in all honesty, as much as it is a stonking multi-purpose cleaner - it won't affect tar nor glue, but does work a treat on concrete blobs on paintwork.

Done!!!

White spirit and a washing up sponge.Gentle use of the abrasive side on the tougher bits (thickest)

Also found once softened with white spirit it could be "rolled off" in little balls with my fingers.
